Choose your thoughts the way you choose your friends
Where do thoughts come from?
Thoughts come from nowhere and from everywhere! I think both contain an element of truth.Subjectively, our thoughts come from nowhere: they just pop into our heads, or emerge in the form of words leaving our mouths. Objectively, we can say that thoughts emerge from neural processes, and that neural processes come fromeverywhere. What I mean by this is that the forms and dynamics of thought are influenced by everything that has a causal connection with you, your society, and your species .. Yohan John
Our thoughts come from every interaction with the world, it has a magnetic impulse that just pick information from every source. Think about a monkey in a super market that just pick things jumping from one shelve to another, you are not even aware on that the monkey has picked. Likewise, our thoughts gets information from source we are not aware of.
Characteristics of our thought life

Thoughts has power to transform a man.
….. transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.
The way we think can affect the quality of our being.
Your thoughts make you the person you are. Proverbs 4:23 Easy to read.
This is to say that to determined the kind of life you want tomorrow is to. Consciously choose your thoughts today.
Thoughts should always be under your control, choose what you want to think and what you don’t want.
But godliness with contentmentis great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it.
I will define contentment as a feeling of self satisfaction. God does not love us equally rather, He loves us personally, uniquely and adequately.
Our needs and desires are different, it will be unhealthy to judge our satisfaction based on others accomplishments.
Think about a child who is in search for five stones to build a house, when he got the first stone, he was happy and ventured for the second one with enthusiasm. When he got the second stone, he threw a party for his friends.
Contentment will make the journey of life fun and easy. It not that you settled for less rather you appreciate what you have now. If only we can pause a bit to look at how far we have gone then we realised how ungrateful we’ve being to ourselves.
Accepting your current position will give you good knowledge of what you need to get to the desired position. Paul said that he has learnt the secret on content. This is the secret: He who is not contented with one can’t be content with many. Because lack of content leads to greed.
You can show concern but don’t show that you are worried about us. Worry tells us that you don’t trust us, you don’t believe in us or you are scared about us and any of these things can bring an inner conflict between us.
There is a big difference in showing concern and showing worry.
* Concern has love while worry has fear.
*Concern has a goal while worry has confusion
*Concern is healthy, it doesn’t get you depressed nor doubtful but the unhealthiness of worry makes you sad.
* When you show concern, the happiness of ur child is the priority but worry makes you to think about what your friends will say to you about it. (Self centered)
To know if you are concerned or worried, ask yourself why are you doing this?
Is it because of your child happiness?
Is it because you are scared (worry)
Because of what people will say? (worried)
Even the Bible said it, Do not be worried about anything
